season 1 was soo much better.... what happened

Yeah. I waited to watch this season for so long. This is disappointing as hell. Only 4 episodes remain, the season started off good but the middle of it kinda sucked. And they're doing a lot of mind control and internet shit, like, wtf? Why is the theme constantly going for that?

Damn I'm late but I have to cover quite a few things on here so...

The plot for the Donghua is getting increasingly disappointing, and I've been rather irritated with how Wang Ling has been going forward with things, setting aside not restoring the World's Spiritual Power, he has casually let his close friends become targets of demons and other cultivators for literally no valid reason, while he just doesn't do anything till the end.

I am happy with the things going on between Wang Ling and Sun Rong, no matter how lackluster it's been, but Wang Ling was said to be able to kill of a person with Peak Cultivation, a Dao Ancestor, using a clone whose power was 90% sealed. Maybe that is for later times, but I'm sure that with him being the head of the association thing with the most likely strongest and oldest human cultivators (10,000 y/o+ group of people, don't know how he is the head though), he should be beyond capable of destroying the world, as seen in Season 1 where he literally created a new universe iirc, and yet he has consistently failed to notice things quickly, such with the Spirit Worm thing sucking on the Spirit Vein of the Sun Family, or this stupid demon whose power and existence is quite literally nothing to him, but still poses a danger to the world he lives in....

They are probably going the cop out reason of all his power is sealed so he doesn't notice anything easily but in moments of high emotion he can release alot of power kinda like mob psycho. Or it could be that he doesn't try to get deeply involved or intervene because he is trying to not have a repeat of almost destroying the world for personal reasons only intervening if absolutely necessary. The only thing from those two reasons is because he is so powerful and do to his emotions being sealed he just doesn't care but that would go against the overarching plot.

Ok I'm very late to this show. Added it to my list of interest and just kept forgot or not watching untill today (because burn out bore) and now I'm confuzzle like why does Wong Sun all of a sudden love MC, I know she was under a spell by accident. Am I'm over thinking, is it just that easy, or there a reason to be told in the future if not I need answer NOW! I do love the show so far.....

Well I guess we can count our lucky stars the two other side characters can make a dent on the enemies, the question is how long can they do it.

i think this episode needed a CRAP-TON more exposition! we left our 'scooby-gang' last week saving Miss Sun and her family from: stock manipulation, spiritual source spring-water draining on her ancestral lands, and her family's golden pill manufacturing corporation going bankrupt...

now all of a sudden we're on a broadcast of 'China's Magic Swords Got Talent' broadcast...WTF? zero transition!

but, still a fun episode anyways. because for a few seconds there... i think Miss Sun had a higher popularity rating than GOD himself! :> over 1 billion viewers and her BF Wang just shifted all that ultimate control a few meters to the side under Miss Sun's feet... and 'whammy!' if she'd said, "love me everybody!" whooo whee! instant world-wide religion! hahahah! fun! :

like i said in last episodes this donghua is "anything can be plot pacing"...

I think Season 2 of this Donghua is more of a "Disappointing Sequel" trope🤔 And/or maybe the whole "Original's are always better" sort of thing😐

Definitely one of the best chinese anime I've seen. This series really has a lot of cliché and cringey moments and the animation isn't the best, hopefully they improve that. Best moment was definitely when he showed his dual element skill.

Best one for me is King's Avatar, hell, I even watched the live-action version in Netflix...

This is really annoying. Still no character development. I find more character development to their villain rather than the lead characters. Also are the villain here is team rocket in pokemon? Just like the team rocket they just received a one blow, fly in the sky and in the nxt episode they will come back again and again.

Man I don't understand why people are complaining. We got good action last season near the shows ending episodes only. otherwise the pace is kinda the same as last season and I'm still having fun watching it.
